INEC Opens Recruitment Portal for 2026 Positions

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has initiated its recruitment process for the year 2026, opening its application portal for suitable Nigerian candidates for entry-level positions across grades 07, 08, 09, 10, and 12. The application window is from July 20 to July 27, as stated in a notice on the commission's website.

The recruitment aims to strengthen INEC's institutional capacity in electoral administration, voter registration, data management, and election logistics. Applicants must submit their applications online via the commission's recruitment portal, where they need to create an account, complete the application form, and upload required credentials.

INEC emphasizes that the application process is free of charge and warns against submitting false information or forged documents, which could lead to disqualification and potential prosecution. Vacancies are available in three cadre groups, with requirements including a bachelor's degree or its equivalent, relevant professional certifications, and at least two years of post-qualification experience.
