INEC Opens 2026 Recruitment Portal for Entry-Level Jobs

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has launched its recruitment portal for the year 2026, inviting qualified Nigerians to apply for entry-level positions across grade levels 07, 08, 09, 10, and 12. The application portal opened on July 20, 2026, and will close on July 27, 2026.

This recruitment exercise aims to strengthen INEC's capacity in electoral administration, voter registration, data management, and electoral logistics. Interested applicants are urged to submit their applications online through the designated recruitment portal by creating an account, completing the application form, and uploading the required credentials.

INEC has emphasized that the recruitment process is entirely free and has warned applicants against submitting false information or forged documents, as such actions will lead to disqualification and potential prosecution. Vacancies are categorized into three professional cadres, with positions at grade levels 09, 10, and 12 requiring a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualifications, while grade level 08 positions require a bachelor's degree or higher national diploma (HND).
