Thugs Disrupt Voting in Ejigbo, ADC Candidate Reacts

In Ejigbo, Osun State, at polling unit 13 ward 4, political thugs attacked during the voting process, resulting in the complete destruction of all INEC materials. Voters fled for safety amidst the chaos.

ADC governorship candidate Rt. Hon. Najeem Salaam stated that the attack was a well-planned attempt on his life, occurring immediately after he cast his vote.

He expressed concern over the state of Nigerian democracy and criticized the lack of protection for citizens during the electoral process. Salaam noted that security officials arrested one suspect but expressed frustration over the perceived inaction of security agencies during the attack.
