ADC Candidate Najeem Salaam Raises Election Concerns

Najeem Salaam, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate in Osun State, expressed alarm over the alleged non-recognition of his party agents in multiple areas during the governorship election held on Saturday. Salaam arrived at his polling unit at approximately 10:39 a.m. and reported that ADC agents were not acknowledged despite their names being uploaded prior to the election.

This alleged exclusion reportedly affected agents in 10 local government areas. Salaam stated he had informed relevant authorities about the situation, which they are currently investigating.

He also refuted claims of vote buying by the ADC, asserting that the party's campaign focused on presenting its programs to voters, allowing them to make informed choices. Salaam emphasized the importance of voters exercising their rights without interference and expressed confidence in his potential victory, attributing it to his faith in God and the support from voters across the state.

The election features candidates from various political parties vying for leadership over the next four years.
