INEC and NIMC Partner to Transform Voter Registration in Nigeria

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) have partnered to harmonize identity management and voter registration processes in Nigeria. INEC Chairman Mahmood Yakubu announced the collaboration, aiming to integrate the National Identification Number (NIN) into the voter registration exercise to uniquely identify eligible voters.
