NIMC Completes Diaspora NIN Services Upgrade

The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has completed a significant upgrade to its Diaspora NIN services platform, aimed at improving efficiency, security, and user experience for Nigerians abroad seeking to obtain their National Identification Number (NIN). The commission's head of Corporate Communications, Kayode Adegoke, revealed that the upgraded platform offers a seamless, robust, and secure system for managing NIN enrollment services outside Nigeria.

Adegoke emphasized the importance of ensuring that Nigerians in the Diaspora receive the same level of efficient service delivery as their counterparts at home. Adegoke also noted that the upgrade will not disrupt Diaspora operations, with enrollment activities continuing without interruption.

NIMC urged both resident and non-resident Nigerians to utilize their services, including the NIMC Modification Portal and NINAuth App, to update their records and access information securely. The commission reaffirmed its commitment to providing reliable identity management services locally and globally.
