FIFA Adviser Resigns Over World Cup Sale Controversy

Carlos Cordeiro has resigned from his position as senior adviser to FIFA President Gianni Infantino, effective immediately, in response to Infantino's controversial plans to sell shares of the World Cup. This proposal has drawn significant criticism, with UEFA threatening to boycott FIFA events and CONCACAF stating that its 41 member associations have rejected the plans.
