Emir of Pindiga Advocates for Traditional Rulers' Role

The Emir of Pindiga, Seyoji Ahm, has urged for stronger roles for traditional rulers in tackling insecurity challenges in Gombe State. During a gathering with political leaders and security agencies, he highlighted that traditional rulers are often the first point of contact for communities facing security issues.

However, he expressed concern over the declining recognition of traditional institutions, particularly in local governance. Ahm stressed the importance of integrating traditional rulers into local security frameworks to enhance intelligence gathering and prevent conflict escalation.
