Nigeria Police Force to Resume Tinted Glass Permit Enforcement Amid Insecurity Concerns

The Nigeria Police Force has declared the resumption of enforcing tinted glass permits in the country to address the escalating wave of insecurity. The decision, pending final court determination, aims to combat crimes such as armed robbery, kidnapping, and violent activities.

The enforcement was temporarily halted to allow citizens to comply, but with the current security challenges, the police are set to resume enforcement from January 2, 2026.
