Inuwa Yahaya Advocates for Gombe-Biu Super Highway

Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has renewed his efforts to advance the construction of the Gombe-Biu axis of the Akwanga-Jos-Bauchi-Gombe-Biu-Maiduguri Super Highway. During a meeting with the Minister of Works, Senator David Umahi, in Abuja, Yahaya emphasized the project's significance for enhancing agricultural, commercial, industrial, and tourism potential in Gombe and the North-East region.

The Federal Government recently approved the project, and Yahaya has been actively engaging with federal authorities to ensure its timely commencement. The groundbreaking ceremony for the project was conducted with Senator Umahi in Gombe.

Yahaya is also advocating for new Northern and Southern bypasses for Gombe metropolis to improve traffic flow and connectivity. Senator Umahi assured Yahaya that the project is a priority for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration and expressed confidence in Hitech Construction Company, the contractor for the project.

Umahi praised Yahaya's commitment to development in Gombe.
