Iru Ekun Security Network Registers Over 80,000 Volunteers

Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, disclosed that the Iru Ekun Security Network has surpassed 80,000 registered volunteers across South West Nigeria. As the founder of this security outfit, Igboho emphasized the initiative's commitment to combating terrorism and kidnapping in the region.

The network was officially launched in Oyo State, with plans to expand to Kwara State. Igboho noted a significant reduction in kidnapping incidents attributed to improved local intelligence and collaboration with federal security agencies, including the Nigerian Police Force and the Ministry of Defence.

He expressed gratitude for the support from South West governors and highlighted the enthusiasm of the local populace, with 50,000 personnel already registered. The initiative aims to enhance community safety and restore public confidence in government security measures.
