Mose Itauma's Fight Delayed Again, New Date Set for August

Mose Itauma, a 21-year-old heavyweight prospect, has had his next fight postponed for the second time, now aiming for a date in late August. Promoter Frank Warren indicated that the fight, originally scheduled for July 25, was moved to August 8 to avoid a clash with Anthony Joshua's contest against Kristian Prenga.

However, this date proved unfeasible, leading to a new target of either August 22 or August 29. Warren stated that the delay is not due to any issues but rather a matter of coordinating schedules.

Itauma is expected to face Croatian contender Filip Hrgovic, who is ranked inside the global top ten heavyweight boxers with a record of 20 wins and 1 loss. Hrgovic's only defeat came via an eighth-round stoppage against current WBO heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois.

Itauma, who remains a strong contender in the heavyweight division, is currently 14-0 and is known for his explosive speed, which he showcased in a recent five-round demolition of Jermain Franklin in March.
