ITF Launches Business Incubation Program for Artisans

The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) is launching a business incubation program specifically for artisans who graduated from the SUPA program. This initiative aims to boost micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) across Nigeria by transforming artisan skills into sustainable businesses.

The program is designed to support artisans with tools, training, mentorship, and business support services, facilitating market access necessary for establishing and sustaining viable enterprises. Participants will undergo intensive entrepreneurship and business management training, including an internationally recognized certification process to improve their professional standing.

Dr. Afiz Ogun, the Director General of ITF, described the program as a strategic intervention that goes beyond skill acquisition, creating structured pathways for artisans to transition into entrepreneurship and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria's economic development. The launch event is expected to provide stakeholders with insights into the program's framework and implementation strategies.
