ITU Member States Discuss Global Connectivity at WTD Conference 2025 in Azerbaijan

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) member states, including Nigeria, convened at the World Telecommunication Development Conference 2025 in Baku, Azerbaijan, led by ITU Secretary-General Doreen Bogdan Martin. The conference aimed to address the challenges of global connectivity, digital inclusion, and sustainable digital transformation.

Azerbaijan's Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, hosted the event, emphasizing the importance of bridging digital divides. ITU's Telecommunication Development Bureau Director, Cosmas Luckyson Zavazava, highlighted the need for human-centric actions and investments in resilient infrastructure for a sustainable digital future.
