JAMB Lists Reasons for Missing Names on Matriculation List

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has outlined three reasons why candidates' names may not appear on the matriculation list. This information was shared via an explainer video on JAMB's official X handle on August 28.

The first reason is that candidates have not accepted their admission on the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) or their status reads "not admitted." Those in this situation are advised to return to their institutions for proper processing of their admissions. The second reason is that some candidates may be missing because their schools have not submitted verified details to JAMB, and they are encouraged to follow up with their institution's admissions office.

The third and most critical reason is the failure to print the JAMB original result slip and admission letter. Affected candidates are directed to visit the nearest JAMB office or an approved Computer-Based Test (CBT) center to obtain these documents.
