JAMB Warns Candidates of NIMC Errors Blocking Result Uploads

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued a warning to candidates regarding the potential rejection of their O'level results on the e-Facility Portal due to discrepancies with their National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) details. This warning is directed at candidates preparing for the 2026 admissions process.

JAMB identified three specific issues that could cause outright rejection or upload failure: discrepancies in recorded grades, mismatches between names on the NIMC profile and examination certificates, and incorrect dates of birth. The system cross-checks candidates' identities against the NIMC database, and any differences, even minor, can block uploads.

Candidates are advised to verify their examination certificates against their NIMC details before attempting to upload results, as corrections to NIMC records require a visit to an enrolment center, which can be time-consuming. JAMB emphasized the importance of ensuring that full names, dates of birth, and subject grades match exactly on both documents.
