Jigawa Senator Launches 1,200-Capacity Conference Centre

Senator Ahmad Abdulhamid Malam Madori, representing Jigawa North-East Senatorial District, has officially launched the construction of a 1,200-capacity international-standard multipurpose conference centre in Hadejia, Jigawa State. The facility, situated at the old prison premises, is designed to host conferences, seminars, workshops, and other large-scale activities.

During the foundation-laying ceremony, the senator was represented by Hon. Adamu Ibrahim Gira, the former Deputy Speaker of the Jigawa State House of Assembly and Special Adviser to Governor Umar Namadi on Small Town Water Supply. Madori stated that the project is part of his efforts to deliver dividends of democracy to his constituents and aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda.

The conference centre will include a main hall, accommodation rooms, a VIP lounge, and other functional spaces, with a completion timeline of five months. The Emir of Hadejia, Alhaji Adamu Abubakar Maji, praised the initiative, emphasizing its potential to benefit the community.
