Dickson: PDP's Decline Saddens Jonathan Amid Crisis

On Tuesday, former Bayelsa State Governor Dickson commented on the current state of the People's Democratic Party (PDP), expressing that former President Jonathan must be saddened by the party's decline, which he described as "evaporating" before Jonathan's eyes. Dickson, who is now a senator representing Bayelsa West, made these remarks during an appearance on Channels Television's Politics Today.

He recalled the PDP's flourishing days and criticized the ongoing leadership crisis within the party, which has led to a significant exodus of members, including high-profile figures. Dickson himself left the PDP for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on March 5.

He emphasized that the party is facing a critical moment, with only two governors remaining in its ranks, highlighting the severity of the situation as factions vie for control of the party's leadership.
