Jonathan Disowns Fake Instagram Account Impersonating Him

Goodluck Jonathan, the former president of Nigeria, has warned the public against a fake Instagram account that is impersonating him. His media aide, Ikechukwu Ez, issued a statement on Friday clarifying that Jonathan does not operate or maintain a personal Instagram account.

The fake account has reportedly changed its username 13 times and is designed to mislead the public, presenting itself as a fan page. Ez emphasized that the account's actions are deceptive and urged the public to be cautious of such impersonation.

He expressed hope that Meta, the parent company of Instagram, would take appropriate action against the account, which is misleading unsuspecting members of the public.
