Tungan Madaki Celebrates New Access Road Inauguration

On Thursday, residents of Tungan Madaki in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) celebrated the inauguration of a newly constructed seven-kilometer access road connecting their community to Bill Clinton Drive. This initiative, part of President Bola Tinubu's administration, aims to reconnect farmers and students to essential livelihoods.

Malam Muhammad Haruna, the district head, commended Tinubu and FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for their efforts to improve the community's living conditions. The road, which includes four-span bridges, addresses decades of economic stagnation caused by poor infrastructure, particularly during the rainy season when access to schools and markets was severely hindered.

The project is expected to enhance agricultural productivity, reduce transport costs, and improve access to education by eliminating hazards that previously affected students' daily commutes. While the community celebrates this milestone, Haruna emphasized the need for additional support, including potable water, to fully realize the benefits of this development.
