Jude Bellingham Wins England Player of the Year Again

Jude Bellingham, a midfielder for Real Madrid, has been awarded England's Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, surpassing Harry Kane. The accolade was determined by fan votes through the official Three Lions app, recognizing Bellingham's outstanding performances for the national team.

During the 2026 World Cup, he scored seven goals and provided one assist in eight matches, contributing to England's bronze medal finish. Bellingham is only the second player in history to win this award in successive years, with Wayne Rooney holding the record for the most wins at four.

After receiving the award at Wembley Stadium, Bellingham expressed his gratitude, stating, “To be recognised by the fans again is a great honour.” England manager Thomas Tuchel praised Bellingham as ‘one of the best’ in the tournament. Meanwhile, Harry Kane reflected on his achievement of scoring 150 career goals for England, expressing pride and gratitude towards his teammates and coaches.
