Nigeria's Junior YellowGreens achieved a significant seven-wicket victory over Rwanda in their third league match of the ICC U19 Men’s World Cup Africa Qualifier Division 2, held at Gahanga Main Oval in Kigali. Nigeria bowled out Rwanda for just 79 runs in 23.1 overs, with Emmanuel Oladejo leading the bowling attack with figures of 3/9 from five overs.

Abdullahi Ismail and Keneth Boniface also contributed with three wickets each, allowing Nigeria to maintain pressure throughout the innings. Captain Ali Rahmon expressed satisfaction with the bowling but noted the need for improvement in discipline.

In response, Nigeria chased down the target, scoring 84 runs for three wickets in 15.2 overs, with Rahmon and Hossana Omonkhobhio forming a crucial 46-run opening partnership. Keneth Boniface, who was named Player of the Match, played a vital role with both bat and ball.

With this victory, Nigeria remains third in the standings with four points and two matches left in the qualification campaign.
