Court Denies Bail to Bauchi Commissioner and Others in Terrorism Financing Case

The Federal High Court in Abuja has denied bail to Bauchi State Commissioner for Finance, Yakubu Adamu Balarabe, and three others accused of terrorism financing. The accused were arraigned on ten counts related to conspiracy, conversion of public funds, alleged terror financing, and money laundering.

The defense pleaded not guilty, and the court adjourned the matter for a ruling on the bail application. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) confirmed the denial of bail on social media.
