JUSUN Commends Uba Sani for Judiciary Support in Kaduna

The Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) Kaduna State branch praised Governor Uba Sani for his significant support towards enhancing judiciary welfare and court infrastructure. In a statement signed by the union's chairman, Comrade Auwal Sarki, the governor's commitment to strengthening the administration of justice was highlighted.

Key interventions by Governor Sani included the approval of payments for judiciary staff whose salaries had been withheld for two months (April and May 2021) due to issues from the previous administration. Additionally, he approved leave and transport grants for judiciary workers upon assuming office.

The ongoing renovation of the Kaduna State Judiciary headquarters, which encompasses the High Court, Sharia Court of Appeal, and Customary Court of Appeal, is estimated to cost 2 billion naira. JUSUN expressed appreciation for the governor's respect for the independence of the judiciary and his dedication to the welfare of judicial personnel, assuring continued support for efficient justice administration in Kaduna State.
