K1 De Ultimate’s Daughter to Contest Lagos Assembly 2027

Basirat Damilola Marshal, the daughter of renowned Fuji musician Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known as K1 De Ultimate, has officially announced her candidacy for the Lagos State House of Assembly elections scheduled for 2027. She is targeting the Surulere Constituency II.

Currently serving as a Senior Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Marshal's campaign aims to amplify the voices of the youth in governance. In her declaration, she emphasized her commitment to advocating for young Lagosians and delivering effective representation.

With 12 years of experience as a legal practitioner, she described herself as a woman who excels in achieving results. Her campaign materials reflect a focus on empowering the youth and addressing their concerns within the political landscape.
