Kaduna State Starts Civil Service Exams for 3,000 Workers

The Kaduna State Government has commenced the 2026 civil service examination aimed at confirming the appointments of 3,000 civil servants. This examination, which began at the ICT Centre of Kaduna State University Main Campus, is organized by the Office of the Head of Service in collaboration with Kumesh Integrated Concept Ltd.

Mrs. Jummai Bako, the Head of Service, stated that the examination is essential for newly recruited civil servants to secure confirmation into the state’s permanent service.

Confirmed civil servants gain access to benefits such as leave of absence, transfer of service, and in-service training. The examination encompasses various subjects pertinent to civil service roles, including administrative, financial, legal, and medical topics, and is divided into five sections reflecting different departments and cadres.

Candidates who do not pass will have a second opportunity in 2027. Mrs.

Bako acknowledged Governor Uba Sani for providing funds for the examination and his commitment to civil servants' welfare, including salary adjustments and timely payments.
