Oyo State Conducts 2026 Confirmation Exam for Officers

On August 11, 2026, the Oyo State Government organized the 2026 mandatory confirmation examination for more than 4,500 junior officers across various cadres in the state civil service. This examination, held simultaneously at seven zonal centres, was managed by the Ministry of Establishments and Training.

The examination commenced at 9:00 a.m. and included candidates from junior positions such as Clerical Officers, Clerical Assistants, and Store Attendants. Alhaji Hameed Alade Bello, the Permanent Secretary of the ministry, addressed candidates at the Simeon Adebo Staff Development Centre, emphasizing the importance of the examination for career progression.

He assured candidates that all eligible officers would have the opportunity to participate and urged them to remain patient while waiting for their respective batches. The examination covered Public Service Rules I and II and current affairs, with results to be communicated through their respective Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) after grading.
