3,000 Kaduna Civil Servants Begin Confirmation Exam 2026

No fewer than 3,000 civil servants in Kaduna State commenced the 2026 confirmation examination, a mandatory requirement for newly recruited workers seeking permanent appointment in the state civil service. The examination began at the ICT Centre, Kaduna State University (KASU), and is conducted by the Office of the Head of Service in collaboration with Kumesh Integrated Concept Ltd.

Mrs Jummai Bako, the Head of Service, stated that the examination is compulsory and will determine candidates' confirmation into the permanent workforce, allowing successful candidates to access career benefits such as leave of absence, transfer of service, and in-service training. The examination covers key areas including administration, finance, law, medical practice, and current affairs.

It includes tailored questions for different professional cadres. Bako assured candidates who fail that they would have another chance to retake the examination in 2027.

She commended Governor Uba Sani for funding the exercise and prioritizing civil servants' welfare.
