Kaduna Government Raises Teachers' Retirement Age to Strengthen Education Sector

The Kaduna State Government, led by Governor Nasir El-Rufai, has approved a new policy to enhance the service conditions of teachers in the state. The policy, effective from August 1, 2025, extends the mandatory retirement age of teachers to 60-65 years with a maximum of 35-40 years of service.
