NIPR Chairman Claims Kaduna Insecurity is Exaggerated

Yomi Badejo-Okusanya, the chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), asserted that the security issues in Kaduna State are grossly exaggerated during a media tour of various projects. He acknowledged the state's security challenges but argued that such issues exist in many places.

He urged the Kaduna State Government to share its efforts to combat insecurity, which affects not only citizens but the entire country. The media tour included visits to health facilities and vocational training institutes, highlighting the state's commitment to community development.

Hajiya Umma K. Ahmad disclosed that Kaduna State has upgraded 255 primary healthcare centers to Level 2, providing 24-hour basic emergency obstetric and neonatal care.

Malam Hussaini Haruna Muhammad mentioned that the vocational training institute runs 14 trade areas and has enrolled 497,000 students. Additionally, Dr.

Baba Ahm noted the construction of a 35-kilometer asphalt road linking rural communities to enhance agricultural mobility and economic development.
