Kaduna PDP Woman Leader Lolo Resigns, Sparks Defection Rumors

Lolo, the Woman Leader of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Kaduna State, announced her resignation in a letter dated April 13, 2023, addressed to the PDP chairman of Dura Bitaro Ward in Jaba Local Government Area. In her resignation letter, she expressed gratitude for the opportunities she had to serve in various capacities, particularly as the state woman leader.

However, she did not disclose her next political destination, leaving room for speculation about her future in the political landscape of the state. Reports suggest a possible link between her resignation and the Kaduna South campaign structure, although there has been no official confirmation regarding her plans to defect from the PDP.

Meanwhile, Isa, a minor whip in the House of Representatives, also announced his resignation on April 14, 2026, citing internal crises and undemocratic practices within the party as reasons for his exit.
