TCN and Afaka Youths Collaborate on Infrastructure Protection

On Tuesday, the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) in Kaduna hosted members of the United Progressive Youth of Afaka (UPYA) for a courtesy visit, emphasizing the importance of collaboration with local communities. Ndidi Mbah, General Manager of Public Affairs, stated that discussions focused on enhancing partnerships, promoting peaceful coexistence, and increasing community involvement in safeguarding transmission facilities.

Abdulhafiz Yahya, Secretary-General of UPYA, praised TCN for its Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and expressed the group's commitment to protecting transmission installations.

The meeting highlighted TCN's ongoing efforts to foster positive relationships with communities and encourage residents to view transmission infrastructure as shared national assets that require collective protection against vandalism. This engagement aims to secure transmission infrastructure and ensure a reliable electricity transmission system across Nigeria.
