Kaduna Water Corporation Addresses Water Supply Delay with Pump Replacement

Kaduna State Water Corporation (KADSWAC) explained the delay in water supply in parts of Kaduna due to the replacement of old faulty pumps at the Detroit water intake. The spokesperson, Yakubu Danjuma, stated that the outdated pumps were causing water scarcity issues, affecting residents in Sabo Chikun Local Government area.

The corporation has completed the procurement process for new pumps to improve water distribution. Danjuma assured residents of the government's efforts to revitalize the water sector and requested patience during the installation process to enhance steady water supply in the affected areas.
