Kannywood Actress Saadatu Inuwa Sentenced for Naira Abuse

The offense occurred in 2022 within the court's jurisdiction. During the proceedings, Inuwa admitted to the offense after the charge was read, and her lawyer, Musa Isah, presented the facts of the case, urging the court to find her guilty under applicable law.

Inuwa pleaded for leniency, expressing regret for her actions. Ultimately, Justice Shuaibu sentenced her to six months in prison but offered an alternative of a N200,000 fine to avoid serving the jail term.
