Ajayi and Nathaniel Shine at Silesia Diamond League

At the Silesia Diamond League, Nigerian sprinter Kanyinsola Ajayi secured 4th place in the men’s 100m, clocking a time of 9.94 seconds. Jamaican sprinter Oblique Seville won the event, breaking the Meeting Record with a time of 9.83 seconds.

American athletes Kenny Bednarek and Christian Coleman finished second and third with times of 9.87 seconds and 9.93 seconds, respectively. In the men’s 400m hurdles, Nigerian Ezekiel Nathaniel also performed well, finishing 4th with a time of 47.83 seconds.

The event showcased strong performances from various athletes, including South African sprinters Gift Leotlela and Akani Simbine, who placed fifth and seventh in the 100m, and Botswana’s Collen Kebinatshipi, who won the men’s 400m in a record-breaking time of 43.59 seconds.
