Katsina CSOs Advocate for Increased Education Budget to Tackle Sector Challenges

Katsina Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) in Katsina State are urging the government to increase the education budget to address challenges in the sector. At a summit organized by the Civil Society Action Coalition for Education (CSACEFA), stakeholders highlighted the need for improved funding to tackle issues like children learning on bare floors.

The CSOs emphasized the importance of community and government support in enhancing education. Former CSO Chairman, Bashir Usman Ruwangodiya, stressed the necessity of adequate funding to improve the education sector's quality.

The summit aimed to protect the right to education and enhance the sector's sustainability through collaborative efforts between the government, communities, and civil society organizations.
