Jamila Mani Wins APC House of Reps Primary in Katsina

Jamila Mani, serving as a special assistant for girl child education under the Katsina State governor, emerged victorious in the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election for the House of Representatives in the Mani/Bindawa constituency. The primary election took place on a Saturday, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Mani secured a total of 24,989 votes, decisively defeating her closest rival, Ahm Saleh, who garnered only 1,256 votes. The APC conducted the primary elections across various constituencies in the state, affirming the results following a consensus arrangement adopted by stakeholders.

This election is part of the party's preparations for the upcoming general elections in 2027.
