Kebbi Police to Enforce Tinted Glass Permit Policy

The Kebbi State Police Command announces the enforcement of a tinted glass permit policy starting October 2, 2025, across the state. Motorists are required to obtain the permit online using their National Identification Number (NIN), Bank Verification Number (BVN), or Tax Identification Number (TIN).

The process involves creating an account, verifying details, providing vehicle information, uploading documents, making payments, and completing biometric capture. Biometric capturing and vehicle inspection will be conducted at the State Intelligence Department in Gwadangaji, Birnin Kebbi.

The police emphasized that the enforcement aims to promote transparency and accountability, warning against patronizing unauthorized agents for the permit application.
