Kebbi University Shuts Down Abruptly Amid Security Threats in Northern Nigeria

Kebbi University in Nigeria has closed down abruptly due to heightened security threats in Northern Nigeria. The university's management, led by Abdullahi Fodio, ordered the immediate evacuation of all students and staff within one hour.

This action follows recent incidents of student abductions in the region, including the kidnapping of 24 students from a secondary school in Kebbi State. The closure remains in effect until further notice, with security personnel enforcing the evacuation.

Nigerian leaders like Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima have directed security agencies to intensify rescue operations and enhance security measures in the state.
