Igboho Threatens Death for Yoruba Collaborating with Bandits

Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, the founder of the Iru Ekun Security Network, issued a stark warning during the network's inauguration in Akure, Ondo State. He stated that any Yoruba person found collaborating with bandits would be killed.

Igboho directed his operatives to kill armed bandits and kidnappers encountered during their operations in the Southwest, regardless of their ethnic background. He specifically mentioned that if operatives encounter any bandit with guns, they should kill him, and the same applies to any Yoruba person collaborating with these bandits.

He also included Igbo and Hausa individuals involved in kidnapping in this directive. However, Igboho cautioned his members against attacking innocent Hausa and Igbo residents, clarifying that their operations were aimed at suspected criminals only.

He urged members to report the activities of suspected bandits and kidnappers to the police and other security agencies. This initiative is part of Igboho's intensified efforts to combat kidnapping, banditry, and other criminal activities in the region.
