Kogi State Mobilizes Security to Rescue Abducted NECO Officials

The Kogi State government has initiated a multi-agency security operation to rescue four individuals who were abducted from Government Secondary School Olowa in Dekina Local Government Area during the ongoing National Examinations Council (NECO) examinations. The operation is coordinated by Governor Alhaji Usman Ododo and involves the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Police Force, Department of State Services, Kogi State Vigilante Service, and local hunters.

The victims include Elder Daniel Iyanaa, the principal of the school, Mr. Solomon Audu, a NECO official, and Miss Dorca Sundai, a female NECO candidate.

The abduction involved five individuals, and efforts are intensifying to ensure the safe return of the remaining four victims. The Kogi State government has emphasized its commitment to protecting all residents and will spare no effort in ensuring the victims are safely reunited with their families.

The government has urged the surrounding community to cooperate with security personnel by providing credible information.
