Kuje LG Chair Addresses Media Misinterpretation of Comments

Hon. Danjuma Samuel Shekwolo, the chairman of Kuje area council, addressed media reports regarding his comments made during a meeting with local youth and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC). On Wednesday, he stated that his remarks were sensationalized and taken out of context, leading to a distorted narrative about his administration's values and stance.

Shekwolo clarified that the meeting focused on administrative efficiency, local development, and community welfare, with no intention to alienate any residents. He asserted that he does not have the authority to disenfranchise any citizen of Kuje or deny their fundamental rights.

Shekwolo reaffirmed his administration's dedication to equitable governance and serving all constituents, regardless of political affiliation, ethnic background, or religious beliefs. He acknowledged the press's role in democracy and urged journalists to verify statements before publication, emphasizing that he did not intend to cause disaffection or undermine any group.
