Kumuyi Advocates Unity and Prayer Amid Nigeria's Challenges

Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi, the founder and General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, convened a global crusade and visited Benue State on Tuesday. He urged Nigerians not to lose hope despite the country's security and economic challenges, stating that faith in God remains the surest path to lasting peace.

Kumuyi's remarks came ahead of a six-day global crusade to be held in Gboko and Otukpo, where he expressed concern that insecurity should not lead to hopelessness. He called for genuine repentance and emphasized the need for Nigerians to embrace love, unity, and forgiveness instead of conflict and division.

Governor Hyacinth Alia and Deputy Governor Samuel Od welcomed Kumuyi, describing his visit as timely and assuring him of the state government's full support. Od praised Kumuyi as a globally respected preacher whose ministry has transformed millions of lives and expressed confidence that the crusade would promote peace and strengthen families in Benue and Nigeria.
