Tinubu Advocates National Unity at Global Security Conference

President Bola Tinubu has reiterated the importance of national unity, peaceful coexistence, and religious harmony as foundational elements for Nigeria's prosperity and stability across Africa. This commitment was echoed by Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris, who announced that the Muslim World League, in collaboration with the Jama’atu Izalatil Bidiah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS), would convene an international security conference in Abuja.

The conference, taking place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre, aims to foster dialogue among religious leaders and stakeholders to enhance peace, security, and socio-economic development. Idris highlighted the significance of this conference in light of Nigeria's ongoing efforts to strengthen its national security architecture while pursuing socio-economic reforms.

He urged Nigerians to unite beyond religious and ethnic differences to combat insecurity effectively, emphasizing that a peaceful Nigeria would positively impact West Africa and the continent as a whole.
