Ja'afar Bello Criticizes Kwankwaso's Limited Political Influence in Kano State Amid Rising Tensions with Governor Yusuf

Ja'afar Bello, a former PDP governorship aspirant, has challenged the political influence of Rabiu Kwankwaso, claiming that Kwankwaso's appeal is limited to Kano State. Bello highlighted that prominent politicians like Kwankwaso, who recently joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC), lack nationwide support.

In response, Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has distanced himself from Kwankwaso, asserting that he does not need Kwankwaso's endorsement. Reports suggest that Yusuf's political future may involve defecting to the Progress Congress (APC).

The NNPP's National Secretary, Ogini Olaposi, emphasized that the party respects governors' political decisions, urging Kwankwaso to refrain from interfering. Ladipo Johnson, a spokesperson for Kwankwaso, denied claims of endorsing Yusuf's defection, attributing the misinformation to individuals within the Kwankwasiyya movement.

The NNPP reaffirmed its support for Governor Yusuf and urged Kwankwaso to reconsider his position.
