Asa Local Government Pledges Support for APC in 2027

On Saturday, Prof AbdulRaheem Adaramaja, the chairman of the Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Asa local government, declared that the local government would deliver “maximally” for all APC candidates, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and governorship candidate Rt Hon Yakubu Salihu-Danladi, in the 2027 general elections. Adaramaja emphasized the significant benefits the local government has received from Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's administration, which he believes will translate into votes for the APC.

Alhaji Abdulatif Alakawa, chairman of the Lower Niger River Basin Development, supported this sentiment, stating that the upcoming elections would serve as a litmus test for local political influence. He described the elections as "pay back time," asserting that the results will reflect the people's support.

Hon Muktar Sahagaya assured party supporters that voting for the APC would yield positive outcomes, while Danladi urged those dissatisfied with party primaries to reconsider their positions.
