Diaspora Group Urges Tinubu to Resolve Kwara APC Crisis

The diaspora group, Allianc Kwara Develop, has urged President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intervene urgently in the escalating crisis within the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State. This internal conflict arose after Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq withdrew his earlier endorsement of Abdulfatai Seriki, opting instead to support Yakubu Danladi Salihu for the governorship primaries.

The group warns that if the situation is not resolved, the APC risks losing the state to the opposition, particularly the People's Democratic Party (PDP), during the 2027 elections. The statement, signed by Arc Adeyemi, highlights that Seriki has significant support among the youth, credited with contributions to youth empowerment and economic development in Kwara.

The diaspora group pledged to mobilize financial grassroots support for the APC and expressed confidence that President Tinubu would act to prevent the party from losing Kwara to the opposition.
