Kwara APC Stakeholders Urge Tinubu to Intervene in Crisis

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State have formally requested President Bola Tinubu's urgent intervention regarding an alleged crisis that they believe threatens the party's future in the state. In a joint resolution, they expressed unwavering loyalty to Tinubu while pledging full support for his re-election bid in 2027.

They commended his administration for establishing economic stability but warned that despite national progress, the APC in Kwara faces internal challenges that could undermine its electoral fortunes. The stakeholders accused Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of failing to provide inclusive leadership and sidelining party loyalists, which they claim has weakened the party's structure and eroded public confidence.

They urged Tinubu to conduct a comprehensive review of the APC crisis in Kwara, including the outcomes of party primaries, to ensure a transparent process for selecting candidates. The group emphasized the need for unity within the party ahead of the 2027 elections and expressed confidence in Tinubu's commitment to justice and democratic principles.
