Kwara Governor Rewards Top Law Graduates with ₦5m Each

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq honored two indigenes, Israel Adekunle Adeniyi and Oluwatomisin Promise Daniel, for their exceptional academic achievements at the 2026 Nigerian Law School graduation ceremony held in Abuja. Adeniyi was recognized as the overall best graduating student, while Daniel was the second-best.

Both graduates studied Law at the University of Ilorin. During a reception in Ilorin, the governor awarded each graduate ₦5 million and promised to support their plans for postgraduate studies abroad, specifically at Ivy League institutions.

AbdulRazaq emphasized the importance of celebrating hard work and academic excellence, aiming to inspire other students in the state. He dismissed the notion that education does not guarantee success, citing the achievements of the two graduates as evidence of the value of academic dedication.

The governor congratulated them on their accomplishments and wished them success in their legal careers.
