Lagos Firefighters Rescue Knife-Wielding Man from Well

On Sunday at 7 AM, the Lagos State Fire Service responded to an incident in the Owutu area of Ikorodu, where a man armed with a knife was found inside a well. Margaret Adesey, the agency's spokesperson, reported that the man was exhibiting evasive behavior and resisted rescue efforts.

The team exercised caution during the operation, and the Nigeria Police provided support. Adesey later confirmed that the man was successfully rescued alive.

This incident occurred on the same day as two separate fire incidents, including a blaze at an abandoned warehouse in Ikeja, where firefighters forced entry to contain the fire without any casualties reported. The agency managed to control the situation at the power facility linked to a lightning arrestor without any injuries.
